Summary:  To market and sell insurance through effective sales techniques and good customer service by performing the following duties.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

1. Contacts prospective clients via telephone and/or mail to develop them as new clients with follow-up as needed.

2. Provides price quotes and insurance policy information to all new and existing clients as requested.

3. Takes orders, relates new product information and receives feedback on the company’s products and services.

4. Delivers financial agreements immediately upon receiving them.

5. Prepares monthly expense reports, new business prospects and applications.

6. Updates all client data and “client notes” on computer system daily.

7. Attends outside agency functions, seminars or training programs, banquets and other meetings as required.

8. Verifies coverage and premiums on new business with follow-up prior to delivery.

9. Maintains personal filing and routing slip requests as needed.

10. Performs other related duties as assigned.

11. Maintains established weekly and monthly goals for various lines of insurance as required.

12. Prepares applications, proposals and marketing activity summary reports.

13. Attends outside agency functions, seminars or training programs, banquets and other meetings as required

14. Verifies coverage and premiums on new business with follow-up prior to delivery.
